That writing blog posts isn’t my favorite pastime. But in our conversation, Marianne and I brought up enough helpful info that I want to share some of the goods with you.
In rough “appearance” order…
~ Silk sock liners— it really is a thing, Marianne! They are comfy, your feet stay dry, and hikers wear them a lot, so yeah, my husband’s skiing family all had them in the 60’s and I ended up with a pair.
As you can see at left, they made the travel team when we moved last summer (and oh so many items did not) but they are not the stuff of princess wardrobes that you imagined.
My brother-in-law Chris, now 67 year old man who is still a rabid skier, by the way, would have worn them over a half century ago, and my 98 year old mother-in-law must have sewn those tags in.

~ Marianne’s small Ego electric chain saw. I got rid of my Black and Decker with the move, but loved it.

AND nothing to do with Winter Gardening but…
Might you be one of the last people to sign up for the Marianne’s and Andrea’s fabulous UK garden trip at the end of May? I’m going!
As one of my old lacrosse coaches used to say (he was not, shall we say, a slave to the technical intricacies of the game):
C’mon, c’mon!
Coffee Time!
Please consider supporting Into the Garden with Leslie by buying me a cup of coffee.
OR! Becoming a member of I’m into the Garden too!
I will send you some LH Gardens gear if you become a member!
